Weekly rides will be announced at a later date..

Rides are typically "show and go" rides, meaning whoever shows up will choose how far and where to ride. These rides are for ALL members. No level of riding skill is required. Wear a helmet. Children must be accompanied by an adult family member.

Organized rides in Iowa and neighboring states

(Note:  The club does not formally organize anything for these events.  This list is simply provided as a resource.  More events will be added as they are found.  However, club members are certainly welcome to make plans with other members to ride these events.)

May 25-26, 2024 - Pedaler's Jamboree.  A two-day bicycle ride and music festival on the Katy State Trail in the Columbia and Boonville, Missouri area.

​

June 2-8, 2024 - Bike Ride Across Nebraska. BRAN offers small town hospitality and the beauty of the rolling terrain on the great plains through Nebraska.  This year's ride begins in Valentine (on the Niobrara National Scenic River and the northern edge of the Sandhills) and ends in Louisville (between Omaha and Lincoln).

June 2-7, 2024 - RASDak (Ride Across South Dakota)

​

June 8-15, 2024 - Biking Across Kansas. Bicycle across Kansas in eight days, from the Colorado to the Missouri state lines.  This year's ride ends in Atchison, which is between St. Joseph and Kansas City.

​

June 22-28-2024 - Ride the Fault Line.  Ride portions of Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee in 7 days.  

​

June 25-30, 2024 - Tour de Nebraska. A fully sagged, 5-day bicycle tour, pedaling through beautiful, scenic rural Nebraska every year in June.  This year's ride will visit Springview, Bassett, Ainsworth, and Valentine in the northern Nebraska Sandhills and the Niobrara National Scenic River areas.

August 3, 2024 - Dairyland Dare.  Set in southwest Wisconsin near Dodgeville and Mineral Point, the land untouched by glacial flattening during the last ice age, the Dairyland Dare offers some of the most extreme hills in the Midwest. Distances are 50K, 100K, 150K, or 200K.

​

August 15-18, 2024 - Bicycling Around Minnesota.  This year's ride will explore northeastern Minnesota's Iron Range.

​

August 17-18, 2024 - Bike Van Buren.  A two-day bicycle tour of the Villages of Van Buren County in southeastern Iowa.  The route is given to riders upon check-in on the morning of the ride.

​

TBA 2025 - Cycle Bass Pro.  Distances from 17 to 65 miles in the Springfield, MO area.  

​

Big BAM rides on the Katy Trail across mid-Missouri.  June 2-8 and October 6-12, 2024

​

Bike Wisconsin and Bicycle Illinois offer several events in their respective states.
